About Kenzie

My name is Mackenzie Gwartney, but everyone calls me Kenzie. I am so excited to be a part of The Bridge Church and I am looking forward to meeting you all in person soon! I am a Colorado native; I grew up in Aurora with my parents and two siblings.
I grew up in church and it has always been an important part of my life.

Throughout my teenage and college years, I served in various roles at my home church with kids of all ages. I absolutely love working with kids and have worked at camp IdRaHaJe for the past 5 summers as a counselor. This past summer I worked on the Leadership Team as a Unit Director for Wilderness Ridge (9-12 year olds). This is where I met Alicia and we served together for two of those weeks.

I graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College, in California, this past May. While attending college, I also worked as a children’s ministry intern at a local church. In addition, I was part of the campus worship team where I pursued my passion for leading worship. My calling is to serve and help others grow closer to Christ in any way I can, and I am so grateful to be a part of this team. This church has such a beautiful heart for loving others and I believe that is a reflection of the heart of Christ.

I am ecstatic to be here, serving our Bridge Kids and families during this season!
