About Jeff
Jeff was born in Kansas City and raised in suburban Chicago. He came to Colorado to attend Colorado State University from 1965-69. While at CSU, he met Jill and they married in December, 1968. Fifty-two years later, they are still discovering what marriage is all about. They have been blessed with two children, Ryan and Trista, and two beautiful grandchildren. Jeff was raised in a nominally Christian family with his parents and two sisters and did not come to the Lord until age 30. Through solid preaching, teaching and the Holy Spirit, both Jeff and Jill accepted Christ in 1979. They were members of Bear Creek Presbyterian Church from February, 1980 until the merger with Bridgeway to form The Bridge at Bear Creek in 2017. Jeff spent 37 years as an insurance adjuster, manager, corporate trainer and Director of Training for an independent insurance adjusting company. Retiring from that career in 2007, he volunteered and worked at HIV CareLink for 5 years. This is a christian ministry helping people with HIV/AIDS in the Denver metro area. He still serves on the board for that ministry. He has been fully retired since 2012 and finds that he is still pretty busy. Golf, wood-working and fly fishing are wonderful hobbies, when he can find the time. He and Jill also like to spend some time during the winter in Arizona.
